Copy Editing
As a copy editor, I will look for correct punctuation, grammar, and spelling.
I will also look to make sure there are no missing words, misused words, or confusing sentences.
Beta Reader
As your beta reader, I offer a thorough review of your manuscript, focusing on key aspects to enhance your story.
I will look for character development, pace, and plot holes.
Pricing
I will require half of the fee upfront and the other half when I return your work. I will invoice you through PayPal.
Neither eChecks nor paper checks will be accepted. All currency is in USD.
All fees are nonrefundable. If you have a problem with my editing, I will do my best to fix whatever issues you may have.
- 500 - 2,000 words: $10 - $20
- 2,001 - 5,000 words: $25 - $50
- 5,001 - 7,000 words: $55 - $100
- 7,001 - 10,000 words: $105 - $150
- 10,001 - 20,000 words: $155 - $200
- 20,001 - 50,000 words: $210 - $260
- 50,001 - 80,000 words: $270 - $300
- 80,001 - 120,000 words: $310 - $360
- 120,001 words and up: $370 - $430
Timing
A typical 50,000 word book may take about 2 weeks to fully read, edit, and give feedback. Longer or shorter works will have varying times.
I will work with you and keep you up to date on progress and any unexpected delays that may occur.
